Our Kindergarten provides a special service of Speech therapist, who is an integral part of our team. Speech therapist supervises the overall speech development of children with a special focus on Slovak children and her work covers a wide range of fields including language impairment, articulation disorders and balbuties.
Speech therapist works with children from the age of 2 until Y1 and provides diagnostics, individual sessions and therapy, early speech child development programme, Slovak literacy programme according to Eľkonin, consultations to parents and teachers when necessary, lessons of Slovak conversation for foreigners. The biggest advantage is the fact that she is a part of our team and knows all the children on a daily basis in everyday situations. Of course, parents´ cooperation and intervention in the whole therapeutic process is always the most important. The work, progress and intervention plans are reported to parents weekly and via individual personal consultations or by e-mail. The basic service is included in the school fees and extra lessons upon request are charged extra.
